About Learning Hub "Charge of Physics"
Learning Hub "Charge of Physics" is a non-formal STEM education hub for Ukrainian schoolchildren, students, and teachers. The hub combines online learning and practical educational activities: educational materials and lectures for students and teachers, organization and preparation for international physics tournaments, as well as career-guidance STEM events and educational excursions.
Idea and Implementation
The Learning Hub is one of the results of the international project "The Positive Charge of Physics Transfer by Non-Formal V4–Ukraine Learning", implemented by Uzhhorod National University with the support of the International Visegrad Fund.
The initiators and main implementers of the project are the lecturers and students of the Department of Solid State Electronics and Information Security of the Faculty of Physics at UzhNU. The goal of the project is the dissemination and adaptation of effective V4 practices of non-formal education, development of interest in STEM, support for talented youth, and involvement of Ukrainian schoolchildren and students in European scientific and educational initiatives.
